A resident of Croatia and his two daughters who live in Tel Aviv were recently arrested on suspicion of committing income tax and land tax offenses.
The father is suspected of registering an apartment in one daughter's name to evade debt, and of having the rental money deposited into the other daughter's bank account to evade the tax payment. They were released under restrictive conditions.
