    Anti-Semitic incidents in South Africa fall to 15-year low

    (JTA) — Anti-Semitic incidents in South Africa fell to a 15-year low in 2019, according to the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, which collects the statistics.

    There were 36 recorded incidents of anti-Semitism last year, compared with 62 in 2018. Only one of the incidents involved physical assault, and there were no cases of damage and desecration to Jewish property.
