The Jewish Agency has begun distributing resilience grants to more than 200 children who are being treated at the Sha'ar Negev Resilience Center, thanks to a special donation of about a million shekels raised by the Keren Hayesod United Israel Appeal from a Jewish family in Milan.

The grants will be provided through the Jewish Agency's Fund for Victims of Terror Victims for children and youth between the ages of six and 18 who have been exposed to traumatic events or to those suffering from ongoing trauma. Each grant is about NIS 4,000 to help the Gaza-area children parallel with the psychological care given to them at the Resilience Center, to fund complementary treatments through art, music, animals and more.
