Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit has warned Justice Minister Amir Ohana that there will be a legal impediment to the appointment of Dan Eldad, manager of the State Prosecutor's Office's economic department, as Acting State Prosecutor.
In the past few weeks, since Orly Ben Ari Ginsberg's withdrawn appointment to the post, Ohana and Mandelblit have met but have not been able to decide on an agreed candidate. Ohana thought that none of the names proposed by the attorney general would make the necessary changes to the prosecutor's office.
