Chairman Avigdor Liberman of the Yisrael Beytenu attacked Member of Knesset Uri Maklev (Degel Hatorah), saying Maklev "is trying to cover the draft dodgers and the squeezing of money from the state budget by haredi parties at the expense of the health system, young couples and soldiers."
He was responding to Maklev's telling the Knesset TV Channel that for Liberman, "The only thing that is close to religion is a kosher phone. Apart from religious and haredi people, only crime families and terrorists hang out with a kosher phone. Yisrael Beytenu is a crime party."
