Culture Minister Miri Regev welcomed on Tuesday evening the unveiling of the “Deal of the Century”, and the planned application of sovereignty to follow.
"For me, this comes full circle. I was one of the initiators of the law to apply sovereignty as early as 2013. I believed then as I do today that this move should be promoted in the name of historical justice. Today justice has been served. Our grip on this country is unquestionable," tweeted Regev.
"Congratulations to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu who is leading these historic steps. A big thank you to US President Donald Trump - the State of Israel has no better friend," she added.
