Joint Arab List MK Ahmed Tibi denies reports that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas spoke bluntly about U.S. President Donald Trump and dismissed reports Abbas directed invective at him such as "dog, son of a b**ch".
In an interview today with Channel 12 News, Tibi said: "It never happened. The reporting is simply not true." With this, Tibi confirmed that Abbas refused a phone call with President Trump and even refused a copy of the Deal of the Century Mideast initiative to be launched in Washington this evening.
It is unclear in what capacity Israeli Knesset Member Tibi was authorized to clarify, deny, or qualify Palestinian Authority President Abbas' remarks.
