The Prosecutor's Office asked the court to rule on the case of Malka Leifer after presenting expert opinion that she is fit to stand trial. In addition, the State Attorney's Office wishes to set a time for a decision regarding the extradition.
Leifer's attorneys asked for a hearing about two weeks ago to cross examine the experts who determined Leifer was eligible for extradition.
