An indictment was filed Tuesday against a Tzfat resident after he allegedly broke into 6 taxis in the city of Carmiel on December 26 and 29, in the morning.
The suspect came with a rented vehicle to the city and would smash a cab's windshield, then would get into the vehicle and steal money and belongings out of the cab.
In most cases, the loot amounted to tens or hundreds of shekels while the damage to the vehicle required thousands of shekels in repairs, and stopped the taxi drivers' work until their cars were repaired.
