Chairman Avi Himi of the Bar Association has welcomed the withdrawal of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request for immunity.
Speaking at the Eilat Municipal Corporation Conference, Himi said, "The prime minister knows what he is doing. The request for immunity is legitimate and the law was already set when Bibi was an apprentice scout. He thought he was entitled to defend himself and submit the application and since he has withdrawn it - well done."
