The LA Sheriff addressed the helicopter crash in which 9 were killed, including basketball star Kobe Bryant.
"This will be an extensive investigation, which could take a great deal of time. We know people want to come to the crash site, but we need to keep it clear for investigators. Affected residents are reminded to provide photo ID for entry into closed areas," Sheriff Alex Villanueva tweeted.
"In closing, 9 lives were lost today in this tragedy, I want to reiterate my heartfelt condolences to all of their family and friends. I am a father, a brother and son...I cannot imagine their pain and ask all of us to keep them in your prayers."
