Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit is demanding explanations from Member of Knesset Heba Yazbak (Balad) regarding things she has said which may sound in support of harm to Israel Defense Forces soldiers as he formulates his position on the issue of applications filed to disqualify her.
In a letter sent to her attorney this evening by the manager of the State Prosecutor's Office's department of Supreme Court petitions, it was said that the attorney general takes a very serious view of the statements that support very explicitly or implicitly, armed struggle by an enemy state or a terrorist organization against the State of Israel, Including harming IDF soldiers.
