Turkey is building its first aircraft carrier, the TCG "Anadolu" (L-408).
The original plan, which didn't include the ski-jump, changed due to the Turkish airforce's decision to buy F-35 jets. This intention was blocked by the U.S. due to Turkey's purchase of the Russian S400.
