Har Hevron Regional Council Head Yochai Demeri responded to reports that the US plans to unveil its "peace plan" within the coming week.
"We have a historic opportunity to apply sovereignty to Area C," he said. "This is the most supportive administration the State of Israel has ever known, and we thank President Trump for this. At the same time, we must firmly reject any intention to create a Palestinian terror state which will threaten the citizens of the State of Israel."
