Russian President Vladimir Putin and United States Vice President Mike Pence are scheduled to land Thursday morning in Israel for the World Holocaust Forum.
Between 8 am and 10 am, eastbound Route 1 and the interchanges leading to it will be blocked for a limited time. Another similar closure for westbound traffic is scheduled in the evening. Police said that congestion and traffic jams are expected along the road from the Shapirim interchange to the entrance to Jerusalem.
