Israel has fallen to 35th place out of 180 countries in Transparency International’s Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) for 2019, which was published on Thursday.

Above Israel in the rankings are Qatar (30th place), UAE (21st place) and Bhutan (25th place). This is the third year in a row that Israel has fallen in the rankings. Last year, it ranked 34th. In 2016, it was ranked No. 28 among the world’s countries.
