Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron at the Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday evening. Macron came to take part in the events honoring the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Minister Katz thanked the French President for his arrival, adding, "The arrival of leaders from all over the world signifies their commitment to the Holocaust and the fight against anti-Semitism."

Foreign Minister Katz is also expected to welcome Russian President Vladimir Putin and US Vice President Mike Pence.
