Defense Minister Naftali Bennett toured the Binyamin Council Region on Tuesday, meeting with Chairman Shai Alon of the Beit El Local Council.
The chairman of the New Right Party said, "This morning, the Palestinian Authority cabinet leader announced a campaign for seizing Area C [of Judea and Samaria, currently under Israeli control -ed.]. So far, this whole thing has been one-sided, the Palestinians have entered the ring and we have not. That's over." He promised, "This is the mission - and it can be done in the coming year - to break this 52-year freeze in which we have not even applied [Israeli] law on one centimeter. In Judea and Samaria, the Jordan Valley, Samaria, Judea - we will apply sovereignty."
