Chief Justice Esther Hayut has rejected a request by Human Rights Watch and former local director Omar Shakir to hold a further hearing on his request to stay in Israel, according to public radio.
In early November, the Supreme Court upheld Interior Minister Aryeh Deri's decision not to extend Shakir's stay and employment permit - due to Shakir's calls for a boycott of Israel.
