Border Guards filmed local youth nude in a spring in July 2018, while they conducted regular security operations in the Yitzhar area of Samaria, according to Channel 13 News.
The report states that Border Guards are required to document every encounter with youths to see if the youths are wanted for questioning by security forces. Border Guards said officers asked to find out their identity. "When they refused to cooperate, the fighters had to approach them and the meeting was documented for operational purposes and out of the fear of a provocation." They added that the youths "had a reasonable time to dress even at the end of which, they did not dress in an attempt to make things difficult." The Honenu legal-aid organization, representing the minors, claims that police were required to exercise discretion and avoid violating their privacy.
