Member of Knesset Ofir Katz (Likud) submitted a request to the Central Elections Committee, Monday afternoon, to invalidate the candidacy of Knesset member Heba Yazbak of the Arab Balad Party for re-election.
Citing Yazbak for praising terrorists, Katz said, "I hope this time the High Court ceases its forgiveness for members of the Balad list, a list that we know two of its members have already been in prison, its founder who realized he was suspected of spying - fled the state, and I hope the request is accepted and we will not see her in the next Knesset."
