The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment on Sunday afternoon against a young Jew, who has been detained by the Shabak Israel Security Agency for two weeks, one week of which he was banned from meeting with a lawyer. A court ordered his complaint of physical and verbal violence to be investigated by the Department for Investigating Police.
According to the indictment, the suspect was arrested near Abu Ghosh three weeks ago, when gloves, spray paint and a can with two milliliters of fuel were found in his bag. It is also alleged that a knife was found next to him and connected to him. The indictment accuses the defendant of attempting to vandalize land out of racial motivation, possession of brass knuckles or a knife and disruption of court proceedings. Along with the indictment, an application was made for his detention until the end of proceedings.
