Omri Casspi, the first Israeli to play in North America's National Basketball Association, will undergo surgery in the next few days on an injured knee and is not expected to play anymore for Maccabi Tel Aviv this season.
Casspi's NBA career was plagued by injuries. Maccabi has lost a number of players to injury this season.
