Shas Chairman: 'We won't be deterred by rioters and terrorists'

Shas Chairman Aryeh Deri responded on Twitter to former Meretz MK Issawi Frej's tweet "If you want to prevent terror attacks in Hevron, the best way to do this is to end the occupation in Hevron."

Deri said: "Hevron, the City of the Patriarchs, belongs to the People of Israel by virtue of our historic right to our country and will remain in our hands forever. We won't be deterred by rioters and terrorists who already killed Jews in a serious pogrom in 1929. I strengthens the Jewish community in Hevron. I will continue to assist these precious Jews as much as I can."
