MK Gadi Yevarkan talked about his defection from the Blue & White party to the Likud.
"At the end of the 21st Knesset, I was offered the option of moving to Likud and to be appointed a senior minister. I refused because the mandate I was given was a Blue & White mandate. Opportunism is not my way, I was not educated to do that."
"I am starting a new path in the Likud, they have been working for us since the days of Begin and Shamir ,the Ethiopian community has always been important to them and is still today under the leadership of Benyamin Netanyahu. What gives me confidence time and time again, is my moral duty to my dear community, to take care of her and address and resolve the burning issues that I will work on together with the Prime Minister, " said Yevarkan.
