In a post on Twitter, Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon referred to the EU initiation of procedures against Iran, writing:
"European leaders today are making the right decision to trigger the Iran deal dispute mechanism. Only maximum pressure will change Iran's path, not appeasement. The regime poses a danger to the region and its own people.
To the Iranian people: Israel stands with you!"
