MK Mickey Zohar (Likud) addresses discussions on the PM's immunity this afternoon (Tuesday).
"I have excellent news for anyone who is tired of the left-wing political circus when it comes to Netanyahu's immunity hearings: the Knesset Speaker cannot be obliged to convene the plenum, nor can the High Court oblige him because it is his right and his duty to maintain the Knesset's independence."
"The Speaker of the Knesset cannot be dismissed either, and only the next Knesset will decide who will be its speaker," Zohar wrote on Twitter.
