Former Meretz Knesset member Esawi Frej has petitioned his party's court to block the Meretz merger with the Labor-Gesher Party, claiming that such action would violate the terms of party bylaws.
Frej is also seeking to bring the agreement with Yair Golan of the Democratic Union to a vote before the party's executive committee.
