A combined activity of police and the plant and animal unit of the Ministry of Agriculture revealed, Tuesday, a pirate slaughterhouse inside a barn in the Galilee Arab village of Tur'an.
The authorities found a ton of meat that was unfit for human consumption, which had been kept under improper conditions and with no permits. The meat was confiscated and the slaughterhouse owner was detained for questioning.
