The United Jewish Home Party has slammed the reappointment of Attorney Leah Tsemel to the position of Chairwoman of the Military Tribunals Committee of the Bar Association.
Tsemel is known for her defense of Arab terror suspects. The party said, "Shame and disgrace! And the lack of sense calls out. You cannot put it another way. By this act, the Bar Association is acting openly and profoundly against the State of Israel. We urge the association to take back its unfortunate decision. Defender of terrorists attorney Leah Tsemel should not give be given a foothold in the Military Prosecutor's Office."
