Chairwoman Orly Levi-Abekasis of the Gesher faction in the Labor-Gesher Party has agreed to a connection between Labor-Gesher and the Meretz party ahead of the Knesset elections.
Writing on Twitter, she explained, "The connection between me and [Labor Chairman] Amir [Peretz] is a true ideological connection, which talks about people and puts them at the center. Sometimes, one must make "technical connections", despite the abyss on all political-security issues between Gesher and Meretz, in order to change policy on matters that are really important."
