The Labor-Gesher Party has responded to the Knesset legal advisor's opinion on the establishment of a committee to discuss Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's request for immunity from corruption prosecution by saying, "There is a limit to Netanyahu's antics too, and today he was marked."
A party statement continued, "All the spins and all threats and all lies did not help - the Knesset House Committee will convene as soon as the law requires, the immunity hearing will take place, and Israeli citizens will get the basic thing they deserve before the election - to know whether the candidate-defendant Netanyahu will be prosecuted or not." Addressing Netanyahu, the statement concluded, "You wanted an immunity hearing, you got it."
