Transportation Minister Bezalel Smotrich has agreed on a series of measures to improve public transport in Bnei Brak, following a working meeting with city officials on Thursday morning.
The steps include increasing bus lines in the city, a pilot plan to split inter-city routes to ease traffic in the city and diversify bus departures from around the city and a network of screen to provide real-time information. It was also decided to advance planning to relocate a high-voltage line passing near homes next to Highway 4 and to expand Highway 4, including an extra connection to Maayanei Hayeshua' Hospital.
