Egypt raised the price of the cooking gas it sells to the Gaza Strip. In response, gas importers in the Gaza Strip stopped importing it from Egypt, Kan News reported on Wednesday.
According to reports in the Arab media, Egyptian official have warned that Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh's participation in Qassem Soleimani's funeral in Iran will have consequences, but there is no official confirmation that the raising of the gas price is linked to that.
