Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev eulogized Attorney Eli Zohar who passed away.
"We are pained by the passing of my colleague, Attorney Eli Zohar, Attorney of Israeli Culture. Eli served as Chairman of the Israeli Film Council, Chairman of the Theater Section of the Israeli Arts and Culture Council, Chairman of the Acco Festival and, more recently, Chairman of the Gesher Theater.
"I had quite a few conversations and meetings with him, in which I discussed his great contribution to Israeli culture and his commitment to it.
"The worlds of culture and law have lost one of the glories ("Zohar") of Israel today. I send my sincere condolences to the family."
