Bank of Israel Governor Prof. Amir Yaron recommends the government appoint as Deputy Governor Andrew Abir, director of the market division of the Bank of Israel, the bank announced today.
The Deputy Governor position has not been staffed since the retirement of Dr. Nadine Bodo-Trachtenberg in late February 2019.
