The Federal Aviation Administration on Tuesday announced that it is barring US pilots and carriers from flying in areas of Iraqi, Iranian and some Persian Gulf airspace.
The emergency flight restrictions follow ballistic missile strikes on two Iraqi bases that house US troops.
