British Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed the lenient sentence received by the British young woman in Cyprus, after she admitted she falsified a complaint of rape by a group of Israeli youth.
Johnson said he was very happy that the young woman could return to her home and that he had talked to the Cypriot authorities about the legal process for fear that the young woman's rights would be violated.
