Worker who fell during repair work in Haifa dies

A 70-year-old worker who fell while doing repair work in the northern city of Haifa was declared dead Monday morning, after falling from a ladder and sustaining serious injuries.

MDA paramedics were called to the scene, and performed resuscitation techniques on the man before evacuating him to the hospital for treatment, where he was later declared dead.

Police have opened an investigation into the incident.
