Israel's largest water reservoir, the Kinneret (Sea of Galilee) rose by nine centimeters (3.5 inches) between Sunday to Monday morning, and now stands at 211.39 meters (693.5 feet) below sea level, according to Israel's Water Authority.
Since the beginning of the winter season, the Kinneret has risen 51 centimeters (20 inches).
Despite the rainfall, the Kinneret is still 2.59 meters (8.5 feet) below to top 'red line', which marks the reservoir's maximum capacity.
