C.A.L. Cargo Air Lines recently filed with the Civil Aviation Authority for a permit to fly passengers, according to aviation industry officials, who say the application is expected to be accepted.
This will pave the way for the expansion of competition and lower prices in the Israeli airline market, currently occupied by El Al, Israir and Arkia.
