Police have arrested a 37-year-old Netanya man on suspicion of assaulting a pediatrician who treated his son.
The suspect allegedly strangled the doctor and slapped him in the face, breaking his glasses and personal computer at a clinic on Giborei Yisrael Street on Tuesday. A hearing on extension of his detention is scheduled for Thursday in the Petach Tikva Magistrates Court.
