An 80-year-old citizen who feared noxious emissions from the Leviathan gas rig invited the Environmental Protection Minister for a game of chess to see whether the Minister would be willing to serve as the proverbial Canary in the Coal Mine.
Elkin, who does not need excessive prodding to participate in the game, accepted the invitation.
