Police are investigating the car accident that occurred today (Tuesday) on Highway 65 near the Karkur junction during which a 41-year-old Afula resident was seriously injured.
The driver of the vehicle, a 34-year-old Kafr Qara resident, was lightly injured. The pedestrian and the driver were evacuated to the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center and Israeli police investigators are at the scene of the accident to investigate the circumstances of the accident.
Due to existing traffic congestion, drivers are asked to travel using alternative routes.
