A Palestinian Authority official has called for a move from Palestinian Authority to the "State of Palestine" and the beginning of practical steps in the field at any cost.
Azam al-Ahmed of the Palestine Liberation Organization's Executive Committee says that Israel-Hamas cooperation on long-term ceasefire in Gaza is deepening in a way that exacerbates the split in the PA arena and the geographical and legal separation of Gaza from "Palestine" blocks the possibility of establishing An independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders. He also accused Israel of planning to take over additional land in Judea and Samaria. He also expressed hope that the decision of the International Criminal Court to investigate Israel's war crimes would not be drained of its content.
