Netanyahu was in Ashkelon when a Red Alert siren alarm sounded

Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu was attending the primaries conference in the city of Ashkelon, when a red alert siren sounded in the city and in the Gaza envelope communities.

He was immediately taken to a protected space.
