The Juvenile District Court meted a 10-year prison sentence to an 18-year-old for killing another boy. The defendant was 17 at the time of the commission of the offense.
According to the indictment, the two were in high school for at-risk youth and quarreled because of bread thrown in the trash. During the brawl, the defendant pulled out a knife and stabbed the boy to death.
