A 10-year-old boy is in critical condition at Schneider Children's Hospital, after he came down with the flu, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.
The child, who does not suffer from other diseases or risk factors, was not immunized against the disease. His condition deteriorated within a day of his being infected and his body's systems collapsed. He has been connected to a pulmonary heart machine.
