Member of Knesset Gid'on Saar told a campaign gathering in Netanya Monday night that if he is elected Likud chairman, he will act for the appointment of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu as president so that Netanyahu "can continue to contribute to the state of Israel's status in the world."
