Rivlin: 'The security you create here allows us to celebrate Hanukkah'

President Reuven Rivlin lit the first Hanukkah candle on Sunday evening with police officers and Border Guards in the Old City of Jerusalem, together with Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan and Acting Police Commissioner Moti Cohen.

Rivlin told the security forces, "You are our guards, to whom we look up - you are sworn to the security of most holy and sensitive place in the world. The security you create here allows us to celebrate Hanukkah, the holiday of lights, with joy."
